I just can’t help myself from talking about the NBA.
As I glanced at the scores and standings over the last week or two, I noticed that all of the sudden, the Kings are only 2.5 games back of Phoenix. The Suns just lost 6 games in a row, while the Kings won six in a row. Then this happened.
I’m looking forward to seeing the Kings play the Warriors on Feb. 2nd. Got two tickets from Melissa’s parents for Christmas. Time to break out the Sacto gear and roll in style. 😛
Ok boys and girls, so the first round is over. I went 3 for 4 with my predictions. Should have known better than to pick the Rams, but hey, what can you do if you don’t have the leads?
Up next we have the Battle of the Birds – Falcons v. Eagles. I pick Eagles.
We also have Patriots v. Steelers. Still picking Patriots.
This leaves me with Eagles v. Patriots in the Super Bowl. Patriots win.
And this just in, the 49ers pave picked a new head coach, Mike Nolan. I don’t really know to much about him. He was the defensive coordinator for the Ravens for a few years, and they usually have a pretty good defense. Better than Erickson I guess.
So you want to know who I think will win this weekend’s NFL playoff games? Ok, well even if you don’t, I’m gonna tell you anyhow.
Jets v. Steelers – um, ya, the Steelers.
Rams v. Falcons – I’m going with the Rams. Don’t ask me why. I think I might even root for them.
Vikings v. Eagles – Eagles. And I hope by a lot.
Colts v. Patriots – Gotta go with the Pats. Isn’t this the time the Colts usually role over and die? I just can’t see their defense holding up. I don’t care if Peyton throws 13 touchdown passes. In the first half.
What do you predict? Leave a comment and let me know.
His actual words…
“I can’t put it into words,” he said. “Playing with a guy, living with a guy, just knowing that every day when I wake up that’s something I can count on, that I’m going to be in practice or in a game with Cuttino.
“Him not being here is going to be tough for me. I don’t know what I’m going to wake up for.”
This guy needs a dog or a woman.
Just when you think you’ve seen it all and nothing can shock you:
And how about those wildcard teams. Rams, Jets and Vikings all pull the upsets. Looks like it’s time to wipe down the grill and clean off the back porch. Maybe I can ask Randy Moss to come over and wipe it down…
