So you want to know who I think will win this weekend’s NFL playoff games? Ok, well even if you don’t, I’m gonna tell you anyhow.
Jets v. Steelers – um, ya, the Steelers.
Rams v. Falcons – I’m going with the Rams. Don’t ask me why. I think I might even root for them.
Vikings v. Eagles – Eagles. And I hope by a lot.
Colts v. Patriots – Gotta go with the Pats. Isn’t this the time the Colts usually role over and die? I just can’t see their defense holding up. I don’t care if Peyton throws 13 touchdown passes. In the first half.
What do you predict? Leave a comment and let me know.
OK, weighing in:
1) Steelers
2) Rams (Nate, you don’t know how happy that makes me
to know that you would even THINK of rooting
for the Rams. I tell ya brother, that is real
progress!)
3) Vikings, on a hunch
4) Colts
So then, begging the question:
1) Colts @ Steelers —>
This is tough, Air Manning against the tough ground
game of Pittsburgh. Have to give it to the Colts. I
don’t like their defense, but Manning has some good
playoff experience. I think this is their time.
2) Vikings @ Rams —>
In the Edward Jones Dome, it’s the Rams. Built for
turf, baby!
And in the faceoff in Jacksonville:
Rams v. Colts —>
Manning picks apart the St. Louis D in a passing
clinic. It won’t be pretty.
I shall now take off my prognostication helmet and keep it in a safe place for March Madness.
